have 3 adverts to look at how they done the effects

MIC TASTING
Revision
of mics (again) with wind noise demo
Up to 8 mics (that I will provide) in small room
pointed at speaker.
This fed from CD that I'll make, probably loop of
speech from radio 4 and
maybe some music.
Audience chooses which sounds best by listening
to result in main
room on a 2nd speaker.
Why do they (hopefully) sound different? Discuss
what club might opt to purchase. Maybe need different
mics for different jobs.
What is sound mixer. (basic intro) What do controls
do. Block diagram on powerpoint + handout.
Use of meters, setting levels etc, hands on.
Application to panto scale jobs.
