I have no experience with video... |
You don't need any, our membership ranges from complete
novice to prolific film makers
. |

I don't own a camcorder... |
No
problem, the Society has access to several camcorders
ranging from domestic through to broadcast.

4.
I'm too old (or young)... |
Rubbish,
no one's too old, if you can get to the meetings and
are over 14 and interested then you are the right
age.
Our membership is about (60% 15-35) (35% 35-70)....and
we all seem to get on. |
5.
Can I try the group before I join ? |
Yes, come along for 2 sessions to see if we're for
you. Each session will cost you the standard rate
of just £3.00. If you like us then consider
joining us.

6.
How much does it cost to join the Society ? |
Society Membership costs £20.00 per year and
entitles you to attend all group meetings, events
and activities.
We also make a charge of £3.00 per session in
order to cover overheads.

7.
What happens to any surplus funds ? |
Any surplus funds remain within the Society and are
allocated to providing equipment for the Society or
activities for members. No one within the society
is paid for their time, however expenses directly
associated with running the society are re-imbursed.

9.
When and where do you meet ? |
We meet every Wednesday evening (except during holidays)
8pm til about 10.15. and alternate between General
Club Sessions and Workshops. For a first time vistor
we recommend that you come along on a General Club
Session unless you are specifically attending for
a workshop.
We meet in Cheam Village.

10.
I'm a member of another film or video group, can
I just visit ? |
|
Yes you can. We do not attempt to entice members
away from other groups, but are seeking to build
solid relationships with similar clubs and societies.
Members from other groups, attending on an occassional
basis, will only be required to pay the session
cost of £3.00, and will not initially be required
join as full members.

I'm an organiser of another film or video group,
can I just visit ? |
Organisers from other groups are welcome to come along
without charge, (just contact Al in advance of your
visit on 020 8337 9214). We want to establish links
with other groups and would also be pleased to discuss
reciprocal member facilities and activities.
